This is what we plan on spending any money on so if you have these items we'll gladly accept them as your donation. All proceeds go to the temple, not to the practitioners though they will happily munch your food! LOL!

So the website just keeps getting bigger and the remodel on the temple (my house) is complete. Amazing how higher powers work, even though my house was shredded by a hail storm, I opened it to spiritual seekers anyway. Then my insurance company came through and we now have a new roof, a repaired wall, and new floors! See? Good karma will come full circle!

My meditation classes are beginning to take hold. Zazen is every Sunday at 4PM sharp. This week, we will do a single file, silent, walking meditation through the neighborhood. Afterwards, a good old fashioned fellowship meeting to discuss the future and our callings as healers. BRING A DISH TO SHARE! Rev Chris will be back in two weeks for more Qigong and Dharma!

On September 6, after meditation, at 5PM... We have guest speaker and radio personality Dr. Joe Esposito. He'll be doing a vegan 101 class for beginners. The first precept is "not to take a life" and many Buddhist believe that this means going vegetarian. Their are other schools of thought on that as well but since it's my house, and my family and I do animal Reiki and pet rescues... We choose a vegetarian lifestyle. It's easier than you think and Dr. Joe is here to help. Come hungry as there will be many vegan and gluten free munchies to try out for yourself! Another note... We have both Zeitgeist I and II movies to share. We'll be presenting them after Zazen, which starts at 4PM, on October 11th and 25th respectively. I am also trying to fit in the movie Endgame and The Future of Food! Buddhist Sangha's are usually quite active in the world of activists... We should be no different!
