So here I am, at home, sick… stomach virus goin around my neighborhood thanks to all these kids that don’t wash their hands…….

Now is a good time to update everyone on what I’ve been doing.

Working at my day job WAY to much for one. Don’t get me wrong, I like working at the healthfood store… it’s just that as I am getting older, I no longer enjoy being around people.

I love my friends and family, but the ignorant public annoys the crap out of me!

America has become an nation that glorifies ignorance. Where it’s cool to have a baby daddy and be on welfare. Wearin Bling, Driving a Lexus, and collecting foodstamps. Where your faith in “god” is more important than even your own health and spending time with family. Showin off that big crucifix around your neck as you show your ass and call it modeling!

I want out of dealings with the public as I move towards the future. What I’m doing with taobuddha.org is different because these people come to us for help.THEY are intelligent enough to realize something is wrong and are seeking to fix it. Like many of us, seeking enlightenment.

I too am working on myself this year. Attempting to squelch my ego until it can be heard no more. As most of you know, I’ve unplugged from both facebook and myspace over the last year. For now I am still on twitter but I think even those days are numbered. And Google's new Buzz is working quite well as a copy of this will be posted there also.

As most of you know I am a gadget freak. I am drooling over the release of the iPad over the next couple of months. Many of my friends who assume I use the internet the same way that they do… Keep reminding me that it doesn’t do everything a laptop does. But I don't need a laptop either so to them I say thhppppt…. All I really need is the ability to work on my blog, instant message, and send and receive email. The iPad does that. Most everything I do now is done with my iPod Touch. I know it’s supposed to be an mp3 player but I only have a couple dozen songs on it that I use for rehearsal. Mostly, it’s the worlds greatest PDA to me and as I get older, a bigger screen would be an improvement.

I would still need my iMac yes for editing my website and doing some work, but then I can create a new loggin and use this monster machine as a benefit for my kid. Imagine being 9 and having access to this mongo-computer of mine. Research and school work… I’m sure there’ll be some gaming, but mostly it’s an investment in her education.

I am reading a lot… I hate reading but it’s something I must do. I am hoping that in a couple of months I will be able to drop back down to 4 days a week at my day job and spend that extra day in meditation and doing even more reading. Mentally, I am tapped out. As my grandmother said, rode hard and put away wet. Emotionally I am exhausted. Hopefully an early retirement will be in order soon.

As for us moving to Florida? That trip has been put on hold indefinitely until the economy bounces back. I would also say that yes I love Sarasota, however Sebring is where I left my heart during my last vacation. They have a lake there that I wanna spend my retirement sitting next to baking in the sun!

As for my spiritual path… Christened Catholic….. oops that didn’t work. I then spent many a year not even searching for my faith. Flying by the seat of my pants most of the time it just didn’t cross my mind. I’ve spent time Born Again, over a decade as a Wiccan / Druid, then a Buddhist. I am ordained as a minister in many faiths in 3 different countries. Recently, I have studied Taoism and have felt at home. Taoism fits comfortably with my pantheistic believe of macrocosm and microcosm… As above, so below. The more I study Taoism (with a pinch of Asatru for seasoning), the more I realize I am nothing. That “me” doesn’t matter anymore. So I want to turn my attention to “you”. As my experience with my mother has shown, you can’t help those who don’t ask for your help. So I will not proselytize my beliefs. As I said just the other day…. Your Religion should be like your genitals…. You don’t show it in public and you don’t shove it down your kids throat.

I am technically renouncing all of my ordinations (except my Subgenius one PRAISE “BOB”), AND renouncing most of my education as well. I’m tired of pushing to help those who don’t want it. I will continue to hang one parchment on the wall. It’s an honorary degree awarded to me for the years I did my online radio show… It’s A Masters in Nescience…. It’ means I know nothing. And to me as I finally mature, that’s everything.

WOW! We had 9 participants in house last night! Running out of room real quick. We must find a facility that is nearby that allows us space for free. We just gotta keep asking around. Thanks to all that showed and we hope to see you again at the next gig!

Happy New Year to those of you who follow the common calendars. This year is sure to be a doozy! Nisla and I are mere steps away from our partial-retirement in Florida. We are having trouble deciding whether it will be in Sarasota or Sebring. We prefer Sebring but the part time job market is more promising in Sarasota. As for the temple, time is running out for you to learn your new craft. Reiki classes are still available though EXTREMELY limited as I only allow those whom I think are ready. You have to heal yourself before you can heal others. Qigong classes are still running strong but they are sporadic at best. I may find out today that we're having a class tomorrow, or I may schedule a definite class 2 weeks out... You never know so I urge you to check our events calendar OFTEN!

New Years Eve this year is a full moon. Whenever there are two full moons within the same month, the second one is referred to as a
"BLUE MOON"
In honor of the end of the year, The full moon, and that it's a Blue one...
We will be hosting a special edition of "The Assist to the Deceased" ceremony. ON DECEMBER 31st. Doors open at 7PM and we ask that you bring a love offering OR a vegetarian dish to share.
Youngins are welcome, however, this can be an intense event. It is not uncommon to "see" things during this ritual as we help the dead... PASS ON to their new existence.


Get ready as we kick into high gear for 2010! Be ready to work!

Three stories tall, on Main St. in a small town. The top floor, a 1500 square foot, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom apartment with an outdoor deck on the roof.

My wife, my daughter, and I would live there.

The second floor, a 2000 square foot 3 Bedroom “Monk Quarters” housing 3 resident Buddhist / Taoist Monks, with a community kitchen and amenities. With a roof deck / tiny garden. Maybe a Zen Garden with a couple potted trees?

On the first floor, a 2500 square foot cultural center. With a foyer and a desk up front. A large main room that serves as a traditional Zendo meditation space. People paying a monthly fee to come and sit in uninterrupted environment. The Zendo would be open from 5AM through 2PM, 6 days a week. The “sitter” comes in, and checks in with the staff on how long they want to sit for meditation. They are then given a placard with a number on it. The front desk has a log of when the placard number has “sat in” and when they are to be “awakened.” At the appropriate time, the front desk comes and places his or her hand on the meditators shoulder. This let's them know that the time they wanted has expired.

On one end of this room would stand a traditional Buddhist alter space. Complete with appropriate décor such as statues, offering plates, candles, incense, etc. The main room would be used on Sundays for Buddhist / Taoist (et al) services, lectures, and Dharma.

Weekdays, after 2PM, other classes can be held in this space. Yoga, Martial Arts, Etc. The space can also be rented out to local groups and organizations.

Also on that first floor Would be a snack/break room space. Not a full kitchen but a convenient space for prepared food intended for the main room.

A large storage closet to hold fold up tables, chairs, and meditation / yoga mats, cushions, and supplies.

Of course, separate mens and ladies facilities on the first floor.

And lastly, a small, two room, office. One with a big desk and equipment needed to run the place and the other for performing Healing Sessions (ie Reiki, Pranic, Psychic Surgery, Massage)

The average user would pay at least $50 a month for Meditation Only access. $100 per month for all access for them, and their immediate family. The prices would include all lectures and Sunday Services as well as grant the access to Reiki Hospital events with multiple practitioners.

Yoga, Martial Arts, and Qigong classes would incur additional fees, but members will have a discount.

By living on premises, I would only need enough income to pay the centers bills and a small salary since I would have no real personal bills. The center is to be manned, staffed, and maintained 24 Hours a Day by myself and the live in monks... With Emergency Sanctuary to anyone who needs it.

This is a work in progress, but this writing serves as an outline to move forward.

ARE YOU READY‽ As we enter 2010, by the end of January, we'll begin expanding our activities. We plan on some type of event EVERY week once again! We had great success with the Reiki Hospital that I would like to do that event once every month!

I'm sure that Joe is eager to begin teaching us all yoga as well! And trust me, my fat belly is ready to learn.

I, myself, am beginning the conversion (or shall we say transformation) from Buddhism to Taoism. Taoism is more spiritual, and more Zen like than Zen itself. I need to polish and expand my sorcery, healing, and shaman skills so it should be a perfect fit for me.

I am truly excited about 2010. I hope you are too and we can't wait to see you.

Even having had to go back to work five days a week at my day job, I am still managing to put classes together and keep the center floating! You know I couldn't do it without Chris though. He's the man! PLEASE check our EVENTS calendar regularly to keep up with classes and other fun stuff. We might post the notice literally the night before and I'm sure no one wants to miss out.

I wanna thank everyone who showed up for the assist to the deceased event we had for my nephew Eduard. My father came and got his grandson.

I have the strangest feeling that I'm going about all this the wrong way. I've recently began channeling and the messages disturb me. I got into this entire thing with 2 goals; One, A brick and mortar facility available for meditation in the mornings and classes in Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, Reiki, and Dharma in the evenings. And two, to help others heal.


The messages I've received lately though tell a horrible story. I am supposed to leave loved ones, friends, and family behind on a path called ascension. Many of the people I trained so hard and so long to heal... Are not to be healed! I will no longer actively solicit clients for Reiki or Sound Healing sessions. The must find me. Only those on the higher rungs of spirituality are to be healed! What a shock to find this out now!


As for a facility of meditation... It's just not happening. We have great teachers and even with free classes, the area we are in is not conducive to REAL spiritual development. This line of reasoning has many locals screaming, "What do you mean we're not ready!? What do you mean that WE are the ones that are going to be left behind!?" I'm sorry, it's just the message I get. It's not my decision. So many of them only pay lip service to their respected religions and do not actually know Jack about their chosen faith. This disturbs me when I know more about their Holy books than they do.


In closing, I am considering starting over. I want to continue training others to heal. But there are OTHER things I must begin teaching as well. I just can't get the image of the end of Earth as we know it out of my head. Our planet needs healers and I am in the position of teaching and enabling healers. I think I will also continue with Reiki Hospital events as well. Watch our calendar for upcoming class information.


Buddhism has centered me, Taoism has enlightened me, now it's time to concentrate heavenward. Towards the light. Towards healing and love. Magick anyone? Join me?

Our first Reiki Hospital event went great! We had great practitioners and our clientele gave us a balance of many different energies. Healthy, Zen-Like, and we even went after a few more serious injuries. This was the coolest Reiki event I've hosted yet as the right group of people came together and celebrated, love and healing. I realized this evening that the one tool I really could have used was a DNA repair Tuning Fork. The tuning forks I own now are specifically tuned for Chakras and hemisync balancing. But I do not own one that treat specific injuries. I've been looking at a 528hz Fork for some time and the manufacturer of my current set in New Delhi India does make one. Low and behold as we cleaned up the Hospital tonight, we looked in our offerings box and there was the exact amount of money we needed to purchase the fork! We had made a list of the things we needed for our temple totaling a little over 2 grand... Amazing that we had the amount of money needed to purchase that exact item! It wasn't enough to buy to cheap items and it wasn't enough to buy anything more expensive. It was EXACTLY what we needed! I love how the universe works!
